What type of art will you exhibit?

PIEAM will display historical and contemporary art pieces from all Pacific Islands.

What are your hours?

We will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 11am – 5 pm (PST)
We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, Thanksgiving, December 25, January 1, and July 4.

How much is admission?

$5 for adults
$3 for students/seniors (over age 62). Current I.D. required.
Free for Members and children under 12.

How do I become a member?

PIEAM offers a variety of membership options to suit your needs. Click here to view our membership packages.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, students (with a valid student ID card) and seniors (over the age of 62) receive a $2 discount off of the regular admission price.

How do I get there?

The Pacific Island Ethnic Art Museum (PIEAM) is located at 695 Alamitos Avenue on the triangle between East 7th Street, Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue (MLK Ave.) and Alamitos Avenue in Long Beach, California.

The main entrance faces Alamitos Avenue just west of East 7th Street. The double doors have a large wooden Dilukai figure directly above them.

From Los Angeles County, take the I-710 (Long Beach Freeway) South toward Long Beach. Stay on the left-hand side of the freeway and exit West Broadway. Continue straight on West Broadway until you reach Alamitos Avenue. Make a left at Alamitos Avenue and stay on the right-hand side of the lane. Parking will be to your right at the Museum of Latin American Art’s parking lot (628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802).

From Orange County, take the I-405 (Santa Monica Freeway) North, and exit 7th Street. Remain on 7th and make a left on Alamitos Avenue. You will find the main entrance on the right hand corner of 7th and Alamitos. Parking will be to your left at MOLAA’s parking lot (628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802).

From Riverside County, take the I-10 West to Route 60 West to I-215 South to Route 91 West to Route 57 South to Route 22 West to I-405 (Santa Monica Freeway) North. Exit 7th Street. Continue on 7th Street and make a left at Alamitos Ave. You will find us on the right-hand corner of 7th and Alamitos. Parking will be to your left at the Museum of Latin American Art’s parking lot (628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802).

Where can I park?

PIEAM parking is FREE at MOLAA's parking lot (628 Alamitos Avenue, Long Beach, CA 90802), across the street from PIEAM on Alamitos Avenue.

Limited street parking is available on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Alamitos Avenue next to the museum – We are NOT responsible for this parking, PLEASE follow the posted street signs for parking hours and limitations.

What programs and educational opportunities do you offer?

Can I get married and have other special events at PIEAM?

Yes, PIEAM handles weddings and other special events. We would be honored to be a part of your special occasion. We offer a unique and intimate setting within our facility and in our outdoor garden area. We can arrange wedding ceremonies/receptions, corporate events and group parties. Do you have executive meeting spaces and catering?

Yes, you can impress your clients by bringing them to a lunch getaway at PIEAM. Discuss business while relaxing among the tropical gardens next to our beautifully handcrafted island sculptures and exotic greenery.
